We recently rebuilt the Smith Equipment and Welding website in order to provided the online experience their customers needed. First, we built the entire site using the popular Woocommerce platform of WordPress and added all their products and variations. Next we configured the payment gateway to use their Square account instead of the Paypal account they had been using. Finally, we purchased and configured a plugin to automatically calculate FedEx shipping rates for their heavy products.
It has been a huge success, because of the weight of some of their products, the shipping price is very crucial and a real-time shipping quote was needed as part of the checkout process.
