Phil from Lifesciencehistory.com approached me with a unique project. He’d just hired a famous band from the 70s to recreate their hit song with his bioscience centric lyrics as a effort to promote his lifesciencehistory.com website where he hosts a chronology of bioscience since the 19th century, as well as posts life science jobs. He then turned to James Web Design to create a music video for the song.
This was a tedious, but fun project and involved editing together hundreds of vintage photos of scientists and their work, along with psychedelic sequences for the chorus parts. We used Davinci Resolve and stock images to create an exciting video production.
